Is there a dress code? No. There is no formal dress code. Do you allow children? Yes. We will provide booster seats or high chairs. We do not, however, have a children’s menu. How far in advance can a table be reserved? We accept reservations as far as two months in advance.

How late do you serve entrees?

Sunday – Thursday, our entire menu is available from 5:00 until 10:00*.
Friday – Saturday, our entire menu is available from 5:00 until 11:00*.
*Desserts and appetizers continue to be available after these times.

Do you offer a brunch buffet?

No. We offer a full brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 until 2:00, including both breakfast and lunch options.

Do you offer space for private parties?

Yes. To inquire about planning a private party, contact Kerry Feigenbaum, our events coordinator at 812.332.1892 or leave a message via her voicemail at 812.331.4486 ext #2.

When is upstairs seating available?

Our upstairs bar and dining area is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, as well as some holidays.

Do you offer any drink specials?

Yes.
Sunday – 1/2 price champagne cocktails
Monday – 1/2 price bottles of wine
Thursday – 1/2 price specialty martinis

Do you offer special desserts for birthdays or other events?

If you would like to order a special cake to enjoy during a celebration dinner, please contact our Scholars Inn Bakehouse at 331.6029 and ask for the pastry deparment to place an order.

Do you allow smoking?

No, the Scholars Inn is a smoke-free environment.
